The Basic Conducting Course is held in Todi every summer since 1997 and is aimed at musicians who approach for the first time conducting technique. The course lasts one week and initially provides a theoretical basis, analyzing the scores, planning and carrying out of gestural technique exercises. From the third day it introduces individual exercises, with ensemble and string orchestra. Since 1997 about 200 students have attended the course, and some of them have already begun professional careers.
